Inspiration for the Spirit

A lovely place to wander for poetry and inspiration to soothe the soul

lettersOne of the first things you discover when you put an inspirational website online, is that a lot of people will write to you. Many of the letters I receive are complimentary, praising the website and its content. Some are more specific, mentioning a section of the site or a poem the writer especially likes. Still others are intensely raw and personal from people who feel comfortable enough to confide and share their private thoughts and feelings. Mail is always welcome. I feel fortunate that there are so many interesting individuals who not only visit Inspiration for the Spirit, but also take the time to write.

Peace and Love always,
Patricia

    Hi Patricia,
It’s been so long since I’ve been here, but then I read that you just reopened due to a move. I ordered up a bunch of lovely adoptions for my site. Thank you for offering them. I’m off to browse around some more and be inspired.

You have a very beautiful site. I was visiting Happy Bear Adoptions and saw your link. I’m glad that I stopped by.

P.S. I really love this music. It is so peaceful. I hope you will come and visit my site too.

Hi Patricia, love your new site designs. Hope you got a good start of the new year. Here it is a lot of snow at the moment, the cars outside look like big snow heap *|o|* I mostly have a break from my site but are coming back, page by page. A visit here is giving me inspiration. Take care.

Happy New Year! I hope your holidays were filled with many blessings, fun friends and family. My goodness, you have been decorating, first your home and then totally revamping your site. It is dramatic and very beautiful. Now that I have found your journal, I will be a regular visitor. Take care, dear friend, talk to you soon, Rose

Well Patricia, I must tell you that it’s been more than well worth the wait. Thank you for the most pleasant evening I’ve had in a very long time. Your website’s new version is beyond descriptive words. You are an extremely talented web designer. Going through your pages was pure heaven for me.

I have been much more depressed lately than I even realized. I knew I wasn’t doing very well, but I had no idea how far off-track I’d gotten until tonight. I guess I was holding on by my fingernails trying not to think about certain things that I have no control over. My friend Michelle was here for coffee tonight and as usual she likes to sit at my computer and surf around enjoying my large screen. She popped into my Shining Lights page and was clicking on links in there. She opened up the link to your site and said “Oh is this the Patricia you were talking about?” and I said “Yeah, but her site’s closed right now.” She replied “No it’s not. It’s open.” I waited until after Michelle left then grabbed my cuppa tea and settled myself in for a lengthy visit at your place. I wasn’t disappointed.

I felt lifted up by each new reminder I found on your pages of there being life beyond depression and dispair…my heart opened wider and wider until finally I felt as if my soul was going to fly right out of me like a bird carrying me to freedom. Of course, I’m sure listening to Gavin Degraw while viewing your
site helped enhance the experience. LOL

It never fails to amaze me how every time I get cocky and think my personal river runs real deep someone such as yourself reminds me that I would probably drown in your shallowest waters. This is a very good thing because without these reminders I become arrogant and self-important which makes me totally useless to the rest of the world. All I can say is that it’s an honor to call you friend. =o) (and good grief do I ever have a lot of work still left to do on me!)

Anyhow….enough of this mushy stuff. Thank you. =o)
